Rob Ivanoff is a founder and CEO of Financial Products Research (FPR) based in Boston. He is a publisher of the ETF Business Review -- #1 publication for modern asset managers and advisors. His commentary has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and New York Times. He contributed ideas that went on to become best-selling ETFs. For the last 3 years, Rob has been traveling the world searching for information, stories and and culture around key global cities that is not reported by the mainstream media.Rob is a member of MIT E-Club in Cambridge. He speaks 4 languages. His activity in MIT and Harvard University gave him unique perspectives which he shares weekly at the ETF Business Review. Rob works closely with the asset managers on new ideas and market positioning. He wrote the first study on actively managed ETFs. He first predicted that ETFs will trade commission-free and surpass mutual funds in assets.In 2008, Rob was the first person to warn that ETFs are disrupting the fund business. His work with Clayton Christensen, business professor at Harvard University, contributed to this trend.Rob was born in Burgas in a family of musicians and teachers. He won national awards and scholarships from an early age playing music. Later he entered two of the most prestigious European music schools -- the Vienna Konservatorium and the Academy of Music in Sofia. Rob never graduated these schools instead choosing to immigrate to the United States. In Boston he graduated from University of Massachussets with finance and management. Later he entered Boston University and graduated with Masters in Finance and Economics. In 2010, Rob moderated the largest European ETF conference in London. He moderated events at San Paolo Brazil and in US. Today, Rob is largely avoiding the conference circuit and has focused on helping asset managers grow. He is also active in composing music, writing and painting a new style he describes as ‘auras’.He is now traveling the world and writing the ETF Business Review.
