In addition to my client work as a partner in the firm's San Francisco and Houston offices, I am leader of Pillsbury's Energy & Infrastructure Projects team. I advise clients in commercial and corporate transactions and provide counsel in the energy, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing and marketing fields. My transactional law practice focuses on energy project development; acquisitions and divestitures of business lines and formation of joint ventures; construction projects; and supply, distribution and licensing agreements.I’ve led Pillsbury’s work on alternative fuels and oil and gas production and transportation, hydrogen supply, LNG, and many types of renewable and conventional power generation, transmission and storage (including geothermal, wind, and solar). Among the construction projects I have worked on are hospital and health care facilities, a Canada-California gas pipeline, power plants, carbon capture and storage projects, hotels, offices, water facilities, railways, other public works and infrastructure, and the San Francisco Giants' celebrated baseball stadium.Check out my "wormhole cv" (https://www.pillsburylaw.com/images/content/1/5/157787/RAJ-Publications.pdf ) with links to my selected publications. I’m a regular contributor to The Green Bag, a journal of legal entertainments—including what must be the shortest court-cited law review article (2 Green Bag 2d 267, 267 n.1 (1999))—and the author of pieces on slide rules, baseball history, construction gigaprojects, and the 1906 San Francisco earthquake and fire. My published books include “Humanity and the Big Dipper: A History of Our Species In Relation to Seven Stars” and “Truths and The Maltese Falcon,” both available on Amazon and other outlets, and the forthcoming “Energy Law Literacy.”[ATTORNEY ADVERTISING.
