This has been a zig zag of a journey that reflects business realities more than any straight line can describe. These days, for clients, I draw from these travels and experiences to explore and describe the future to develop scenarios and map ways to get there. Graydon Lloyd is a vehicle – with a global network of associates to draw from – offering insight and support as needed. Recent projects with Costain, UK Department for Transport and Cabinet Office have focussed a range of current logistics challenges with local and global supply.I am now on the Business Development team of KADME (Stavanger, Norway) - they do what it says on the tin - knowledge and data management expertise. Transitional & Transformational ApproachThis is a thought leadership project. Covid has exposed the Just-in-Time and Better, Cheaper, Faster focus of International business as underpinning serious supply chain vulnerabilities. No longer is it possible to assume that all business models will converge to one best way. There has to be scope for diversity. A Transitional (WHAT needs to be done to take regions, sectors and firms into a sustainable future ahead of 2050) and, Transformational (HOW to make things happen). In Logistics and Supply chain terms developing markets need a transitional and transformational perspective to rethink value streams (inclusive and circular) rather than orthodox supply (what about demand and needs) chain (pejorative in Africa) thinking and practice. Currently, this is expressed in talks and workshops in firms and universities. A book is in the pipeline – drawing from and inspired by working in places and with people who make things happen.

The Youth Enterprise Bank is managed by a group of trustees, chaired by Maureen Foers OBE and linked to the Hull Youth Enterprise Partnership.To-date over 210 young people from Hull have benefited from this source of funding, buying items such as: Computers, Business Stationery, Websites, Photography Equipment, Bicycle Repair Equipment, Chocolate Making Equipment, Dance costumes for local bands, equipment for mobile hairdressers and much more..

We worked extensively in over 45 schools - mainly in the North of England and over 45,000 people either participated in, visited or watched a string and varied body of work. However, the Covid concussion hit all Arts based business hard and THT ground to a halt. The content remains... Thanks to all who performed and who supported THT. It was a heck of a journey.Content includes WW1 (Sharp Street Series; Statues Cradling Toys; Talks and plays Oppy Wood; Heroes; Strange Death of Corsetry; Long Way to the Ice House; Panama); Migrants (Reaching for the Land of Green Ginger; a Stitch in Time); World of Work (The Box - all about life on the docks in the 1970s; The Cobbler & A Trawlerman and Boolin Prams - life in the heart of the fishing community in Hull in the 1970s).
