N.C.R. was my rock solid basis to learn what IT hardware customer service and support really is. Next I moved to Foxboro (now a brand name of Schneider Electric) to grow my knowledge and experience towards the far more challenging world of industrial technologies in roles as International Service Engineer, HW Equipment Engineer, Senior Systems Engineer, Senior Support Analyst and Support Consultant. Many subjects have been worked on, like field service, computer design, (control) system design and support, to create solutions for the most complex industrial automation systems around the globe. My colleges nicknamed Mr. Power & Grounding and customers consulted me as Guru in the fields of hardware, training & coaching in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Power Quality (PQ), Earthing, Industrial Communication Networks, System Quality / Reliability.The finishing touch on my career is the establishment (in 2008) of MIW Consultants. It’s our mission to provide high quality consultancy and second opinions for complex technical installations. Our customers are (international) companies demanding outstanding knowledge, reliability, availability and above all safe operation for their facilities.
