Rob Kingwill is a pro-snowboarder and entrepreneur from Jackson Hole, WY. He is the founder of the skate, surf and snowboard accessories brand AVALON7. He is also the brand manager, graphic designer and part-owner at Winterstick Snowboards. Rob's snowboarding career has allowed him to travel the world and work as a consultant and designer for brands like Nike, The North Face, LLBean, Colombia Sportswear, Burton, Arbor and many more.His riding has been featured on billboards, magazine covers, tv commercials and movies like Zoolander.Rob is also a photographer and cinematographer, with past experience working for Warren Miller and YogaToday.His current sponsors include: Winterstick Snowboards, AVALON7, 241 Clothing, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, ASTYR Cashmere, GoPro, ProStandard and Bluebird wax.As a pro-snowboarder, Rob was on the US Snowboard team for 8 years, competing in halfpipe, slopestyle and boardercross. He now continues with his career as a freerider and advocate for snowboarding and the outdoors, appearing in 11 Warren Miller films and producing content for his sponsors and for AVALON7.During his tenure on the US Snowboard Team Rob was a very successful halfpipe competitor, winning the US Open in 1998, standing on over 20 World Cup podiums, and winning the US Grand Prix overall halfpipe title.He also has medals from the Xgames, World Championships, 2X Mt Baker Banked Slalom ProMasters Champion, Gravity Games, Vans Cup, and Grand Prix.Rob coached at summer snowboard camp for over 20 years, and was the head snowboard coach at the Camp of Champions in Whistler BC for 6 years.
