Manage consulting practice consisting of Oracle GoldenGate, Exadata, System, Performance and Architecture (SPA) Solution Architects, Data Architects and Engineers. Practice capabilities included data governance, MDM, platform migrations, highly available infrastructures, active-active infrastructures and data centers and data offloading.

Designed a $7mm centralized, shared platform infrastructure to consolidate hundreds of databases in a statewide, multi-agency consolidation that saved $30mm in the first year. Also designed the highly available, high performance infrastructure and lead the migration of a 25,000 officer booking and arrest system to that infrastructure that yielded only planned downtime and a 42% performance increase in the first year.

Was the first client (Purdue Parma), and then director (Oracle), in the program. Lead several Insights that all yielded 30-50% higher sales by understanding customer’s business and offering non-branded solutions. This lead to higher utilization of all Oracle products and fostered better customer relationships. It also lead to supported sales professionals meet or exceed their quotas.

Designed the platform architecture and led the migration for a statewide Child Support Enforcement System that enabled timely processing of state-issued financing, legal proceedings and federal reporting. Supported sales transactions for a digital media company that included moving a key database infrastructure to Oracle from a competitor. From this $1.5mm sale, future sales totaled $8mm in the two following years while reducing customer costs by 30%.
