- Highly rated as a principle quantitative analyst on multiple projects supporting the ISR Task Force performing data synthesis, inferential analyses, and decision product development. Sought out for expertise in quantitative techniques and communication skill. Projects spanned the space of the DoD ISR enterprise.- Lead of Analytic Cell of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Assessment and Assistance Team deployed to Afghanistan; responsible for products and analysis assessing the effectiveness of systems from across the ISR enterprise. - Primary author of the culmination of a six month study of Persistent Surveillance Systems. Products were presented to the highest levels of military leadership in Afghanistan, and many senior leaders in the National Capitol Region - Developed a Multi-Attribute Utility (MAU) decision support model to capture the interests and equities of commanders and staffs from across US forces in Afghanistan. This model is being used to inform complex decisions in theater and in the National Capitol Region surrounding the ISR portfolio.- Primary editor of products articulating the results of a comprehensive assessment of Ground SIGINT assets employed by conventional Army forces in Afghanistan. Used nonparametric statistical analysis to bolster the findings of this study.- Used various data visualization and statistical techniques to include geospatial analysis (ArcGIS) to bolster the initial findings of a study of Change Detection systems in Afghanistan leading to the improved effectiveness of those systems. - Used parametric and nonparametric statistical analysis to demonstrate relationships among complex phenomena; including various nonparametric hypothesis testing techniques aimed at demonstrating the effectiveness of ISR platforms and sensors.

• Became indispensible to the government client performing capabilities analysis and force development by leveraging operations research knowledge and skills. Specifically was an integral contributor to the solutions analysis of capability gaps identified in the Intelligence warfighting function to include persistent surveillance, geospatial intelligence and predictive analysis. Took part in the Marine Corps Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance-Enterprise (MCISR-E) Intelligence Dissemination Utilization (IDU) initial planning team. • Primary analyst developing data summaries of the “Lighten the MAGTF” initiative with visibility to the highest levels of Marine Corps leadership. • Primary author of a survey used to solicit an operating forces perspective on the “Lighten the MAGTF” initiative.• Developed a data collection tool in VBA that automated the collection of information from Word documents in to an Excel spreadsheet for analysis and eventually report generation in Power Point and Word. • Developed a VBA sub routine that generated box-plots from capability gap data that enabled leaders to connect strategic guidance to gap ranking results.

Selected as the Mathematics Department nominee for the Apgar Award for Teaching Excellence in 2009. Scheduled the summer training for over 1100 midshipmen. On initiative, developed a heuristic that automated the scheduling process. This effort significantly reduced the man-hours required to schedule summer training.Presented Master's Thesis entitled A Data Mining Approach to Forecasting IED Placement in Space and Time to a panel of senior leaders of the Joint IED Defeat Organization. Instructed over 370 student-midshipmen in courses ranging from Calculus to StatisticsDeveloped a new course in Spreadsheet Modeling that introduced Mathematics and Quantitative Economics students to Operations Research techniques. Collateral Duties that included:Plebe Summer Weapons Training Officer in Charge. Professional Training for Midshipmen Logistics Officer. Planned and executed fleet training for over 1100 midshipmen to include acting as liaison between operational units and the Naval Academy.

Direct responsibility for over 150 Marines and Sailors that included administration, training, discipline and operations. Responsible for equipment including transportation assets, communication assets and health service support equipment. Developed a junior leader forum that facilitated the empowerment and continued education of young Non-commissioned Officers and Petty Officers. Directly supervised the training work-ups for reservists in preparation for combat deployment.

Deployed to Kuwait and Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom I as a company executive officer with responsibilities including:Day to day planning and execution of operational level logistics convoysConvoy commander responsible for ~ 100 vehicles and ~200 Marines operating with minimal supervision.Trusted with difficult, under-supported missions as a "go-to" junior officer. Deployed for three training exercises as a Landing Support Platoon Commander, responsible for ~40 Marines and various transportation support assets.
