As a part of the Leadership in the Outdoor Recreation Industry (LORI) Certificate program, my course, "Access in the Outdoor Industry," is dedicated to shaping leaders and change-makers in the dynamic world of outdoor recreation. This transformative course is designed to equip industry professionals with essential knowledge and skills to champion inclusivity and ensure equitable access in the outdoor industry.The LORI program is tailored for mid-level professionals in the outdoor recreation sector, graduate students, and those from other industries seeking leadership roles in this vibrant field. With an interdisciplinary approach that includes business, law, and public policy, the program addresses:- Financial models and supply chain challenges- Legal and regulatory aspects of land use and development- Government relations and public policy- Neuroleadership, emotional intelligence, negotiations, and managing difficult conversations

Adaptive Adventures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides progressive outdoor sports opportunities to improve quality of life for children, adults and veterans with physical disabilities and their families.As the Development Director, I led the fundraising and development efforts. I was responsible for creating and implementing strategies to engage donors, cultivating relationships, and securing funding to support the organization's mission and programs. I worked closely with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors to identify funding priorities, forge partnerships, and develop fundraising campaigns.

• Coordinated employment of Aviation Soldiers and aircraft at all levels, from platoon to battalion and higher, in U.S. and multi-national operations.• Served as Operations Officer in a NATO MEDEVAC mission tracking 6 helicopters during 28 missions that resulted in the safe transport of allied troops to medical facilities• Coordinated activities and operations on training and development for 850 Soldiers in preparation for deployment• Gained superior knowledge in unit administration, communicative skills, discipline and morale, logistics, personnel management, physical training, security, tactical operations, and training management.

Responsible for leading, coordinating, facilitating, and providing ongoing support for VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (VAECHCS) in the design and implementation of respective innovation initiatives in support of the Innovators Network. The Innovators Network, developed by employees for Veterans, is a safe space for VA employees to test new ideas, and join forces with stakeholders across the Veteran community to improve the way VA serves Veterans. It empowers employees to see and solve problems, rapidly respond to Veterans and family member needs and support the growth of their careers in the process.

To provide overall strategic leadership and operational guidance for the organization. Responsible for recruiting and managing staff, increasing fundraising, developing and implementing new programs, working with the Board of Directors, and execution of the organization's mission.

Responsible for creating and implementing plans and procedures that tie corporate giving philosophy to company strategy and helping to develop student scholarships and internships. Led the overall United Way workplace giving campaign and grant applications for nonprofit organizations across company territory: Colorado, Minnesota, Texas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Evaluated nonprofit financial and organizational data and assessed organization effectiveness.
