Responsible for company’s global vision, strategic direction, planning and execution. Since 2009, led the company through the global financial crisis, the most challenging period of its 57 year history. Made difficult decisions and strategic moves to enable the company to maintain a very strong, healthy balance sheet and be well positioned to thrive as the economy continues to improve, including:• Closing the Singapore factory and consolidating all manufacturing to the Malaysian factory.• Reducing staff from 1,250 to 350 and cutting operating expenses by almost 40%.• Opening company-owned dealer stores in Australia and Seattle.• Launching several new models, including the largest Grand Banks ever built. Other Highlights and Accomplishments:• The four fiscal years prior to the global financial crisis, from 2005 to 2008, were the four highest revenue years and most profitable period in the history of the company.• Won numerous company awards, including Best Asian Motor Yacht Builder (twice), several Boat of the Year awards, Best Print Ad campaign, Best Industry Website award, and Industry Excellence and Employer Awards for our Malaysian factory.• Expanded and augmented distribution network in Australia, NZ, Russia, Turkey, Croatia, France, Spain, Hong Kong and Korea.• Oversaw launch of an average of two new products each year. On an ongoing basis, over 60% of revenues consistently came from models launched within most resent two years. • Moved USA HQ from Greenwich, CT to Seattle, WA and replaced entire Sales and Marketing team, personally hiring each new employee. In the process, terminated relationships with outside vendors to move all marketing and PR functions in-house.

Managed seven person Strategic Partnership department, which identified and negotiated long-term, multimillion dollar marketing and advertising partnerships between clients and publishers. Clients included Nike, BestBuy, Microsoft, Nabisco, buy.com and others. Department was responsible for bringing in over $38 million in revenue in 2000.• Developed and implemented new process to improve working efficiency between Strategic Partnership department and Client Services department• Created and successfully launched new pricing scheme which provides significantly more flexibility around pricing options in addition to raising overall margins by over 20%.

Integral member of the marketing department for the online brokerage arm of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Managed online advertising agency to provide strategic direction in an intensively competitive environment.• Successfully negotiated contracts valued at over $30 million with several strategic web site partners, including Yahoo!, CNN and Quicken. Managed all online partner relationships going forward.• Worked closely with online collateral agency to produce highly targeted messages.• Developed and designed online application which more than doubled account conversion rate.

Managed all aspects of production for Personal Finance Channel strategic partners including DLJ Direct, Motley Fools, Citibank, Fidelity and Sanwa Bank. Performed consultative role in the design, development, implementation and promotion of online media.• Efficiently managed six person cross-functional teams including client content providers, technical staff, and production support staff.• Studied and applied user interface design, graphic arts, and online advertising skills and techniques.

Managed dealer force throughout North America and Europe. Organized and participated in owner gatherings and boat shows.• Planned worldwide marketing strategy, created new brochures, and developed press release program.• Editor of American Marine News, the company magazine distributed to GB owners and enthusiasts.

Directly assisted senior bankers in all aspects of executing public and private transactions involving stock and debt offerings, financing alternatives and M&A services.• Performed extensive, detailed valuation work including leveraged buyout, pro-forma, discounted cash flow and comparable company and transaction analyses.• Demonstrated superior attention to detail over extended periods while working under strict deadlines.
