About Rob Loader. Faipm, Fapm, Cppe, Chpp, Pmp, Gaicd

Transforming organisation strategy into execution and driving business outcomes is my passion. As an energetic, strategy and transformation executive, I work end to end developing and refining strategy, translating strategy to action plans, building EPMOs, enabling organisations and individuals to uplift and sustain execution competency and business performance. I’ve led teams of 200+, project portfolios up to $22bn (over 5 yrs) and maintained top quartile staff engagement.I have a reputation for delivering end to end transformations; from ‘formulation of transformation strategy’ to ‘design, build and install’ and finally ‘operate and improve’. In my BOQ, Telstra, AIA and AXA experiences, I began as a consultant to design/implement EPMO strategy and was offered employment to operate it run it on an ongoing basis. In each case I consistently built enterprise-wide functions that uplifted organisation’s execution outcomes.A major highlight was being involved in a finance transformation in Australia and UK, working with PwC for NAB, creating an end to end new operating model, process design and technology to integrate 17 disparate finance functions into a single new shared services centre. Leading the AXA Health decoupling to BUPA was another highlight – delivering a comprehensive demerger of AXA health businesses to a new owner, business model and transitioning systems, infrastructure and premises. Winning ‘Global PMO of the Year’ from PMI, USA in 2018 and being made a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Project Management have been some of the major highlights of my career. Acknowledged as an industry thought leader, I am regularly invited to be a keynote speaker and facilitator at national and international conferences and forums. As a leader I am decisive, action orientated, and outcomes focused while being approachable, straight forward and easy to speak with. I coach and mentor people, set clear expectations for outcomes, then give teams and individuals autonomy to act. It has given me great satisfaction to help many of my staff develop their careers and witness them stepping up to new and more senior roles.I develop warm, collaborative, and enduring relationships at all levels, and with Boards, Executive Committees, and senior management group and have specifically been requested to remain in the organisation post project delivery. Specialist skills: Strategic change consulting | P3M3 Project | Program and Portfolio Management | Enterprise PMO development and management | M&A | Governance | Project Risk Management | transformation
