Having worked in corporate estate agency for several years I became disillusioned with the traditional way the estate agency industry operated. IE the poor levels of services and lack of professionalism which resulted in poor fee levels. I made what can only be described as a 'pilgrimage' to the USA to experience firsthand how professional realtors operated. What I found was that the way in which the traditional UK 'estate agent' and the American 'realtor' operated were worlds apart.
