Rob is responsible for stabilizing, growing and strengthening the BWMC Region's primary care program including integrated behavioral health and the Region's Transitional Care Center. Rob also oversees population health strategies locally as well as working with UMMS System partners related to System wide population health initiatives which affect our outpatient practices.

Lead BWMC region of UM CMG in a Dyad partnership with Regional Medical Director. Rob developed business plans and implementations for service line expansion, new outpatient clinics, and private practice acquisitions. Rob also lead restructuring of the region’s organization to support strategic objectives aligned with BWMC and UM CMG. He implemented operational efficiencies using Lean, Toyota Production System, and Six Sigma methodologies and facilitated clinic culture change with the integration of continuous improvement processes and systems thinking.

Rob developed and implemented a strategic business plan to provide a clinical workplace for independent private practice physicians. With a focus on longitudinal care, Rob collaborated with the physician team to develop a complementary pain management program which included whole body assessments, behavioral health, clinical exercise therapy, sleep therapy, electromyography, apitherapy, platelet rich blood plasma treatments, and stem cell therapies resulting in offering more comprehensive and unique “white glove” services to patients.

Biomimix, Inc. operates in the life science tools and services market covering genomics, proteomics, cell biology, analytical chemistry, bioprocess development, and bioinformatics in the United States. It develops and commercializes products based on processes and systems found in nature, known as biomimicry. The company's product portfolio includes Bonegrafix products, which are bioactive substances to produce graft attributes for bone replacement and filling defects or holes in bone, or stabilizing bone during the healing process; and ocean water based skin care products to supplement skin health. It also engages in the research and development of Medusa technology, an electro-chemical process that focuses on ballast water treatment, remote potable water treatment, and hydrogen production for use with portable renewable energy platforms.

Co-founded C’watre to develop skincare products utilizing therapeutic ocean water. C'watre created a novel product skincare line capable of notable symptomatic relief for various skin disorders including rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis.

After forming Tandem Technologies, Inc. in 1999, Rob was extensively involved in the development of an electrochemical disinfection application for ballast water treatment. He actively participated in the International Maritime Organization on matters related to ballast water, shipping, and invasive species. Rob also worked with the State of Maryland on ballast water guidelines for the Chesapeake Bay.
