Located in Brisbane and reporting to the Global Program Lead, this senior program position held a number of diverse responsibilities. Most recently (start of 2015) the role took responsibility for defining the self-service strategy and roadmap for the way users within Rio Tinto complete transactions themselves anywhere, anytime and on any device.Prior to 2015, the role took responsibility for driving the integration of the program’s multiple work-streams through the design and implementation planning phase of Rio Tinto’s functional human resources transformation. The transformation program was formalised in July 2013 with the aim of supporting cost reduction targets, whilst building a more affordable, effective, operationally efficient and sustainable way of delivering HR support and services for Rio Tinto.

Located in Brisbane this position reported to the Global Head, Global Business Services (GBS). GBS has over 3,000 employee and partner resources globally providing technology, group property, procurement, finance, human resources and program management services to Rio Tinto’s businesses. Partnering with the global head of GBS and the executive team, the primary responsibility for this position involved the development and implementation of a strategic workforce transformation plan for GBS.

Located in Singapore and reporting to the Managing Director Singapore, this position was responsible for leading a country team in sales delivery, project delivery, technical support, operations and maintenance support, and customer satisfaction for all of Alcatel-Lucent’s customers in Singapore, including SingTel, Starhub, M1 and the Singapore Government.

Located in Singapore and reporting to VP, Managed Services APAC this position was responsible for leading the strategic and operational human capital and business development requirements for the managed services business across Asia Pacific.

Located in Singapore and reporting to the VP Services, APAC this position was responsible for the commercial services team driving large and complex customer offers. The geographic scope involved Asia Pacific and comprised a team of 30+ professionals.

Located in Singapore and reporting to VP, HR Asia Pacific this role partnered with our senior leadership team across South Asia and AP to provide strategic consultancy and operational support on all human capital initiatives. Responsible for a team of 15 resources supporting 15 countries.

Located in Sydney and reporting to Director, HR Australia & NZ, this role partnered with our senior leadership team to provide strategic consultancy and operational support on all human capital initiatives.

Located in London, this role partnered with C&W Europe’s operations leadership team to support the establishment of network operations centres in 3 European hubs. This role included the development and deployment of HR operational requirements including policy development, recruitment, employee / industrial relations, compensation and benefits.

Located in properties in Australia, this traineeship provided an end-2-end insight into the operational aspects of running a hotel / resort. On a rotational basis this traineeship covered working experience in both front and back of house departments including food & beverage; housekeeping; front office; procurement; finance; building maintenance; sales and human resources.
