Responsible for technical requirements and technical design of solutions. • Defined strategy and design patterns to assist application teams consume cloud services. • Lead architect on App2Cloud program which drove $11 million cost out by migrating 600+ applications to the cloud and decommissioning several GE data centers. • Reviewed architecture designs, recommended changes based on security best practices, and implemented 250+ security controls to meet GxP/PHI/PII requirements.• Refined roadmap for application development platform and application migration to cloud-based solutions. • Acted as the primary interface with development teams to promote understanding of environments and practices that support cloud application life-cycle development. • Researched emerging cloud technologies, determined business requirements, proposed changes, developed migration and implementation plans, and executed projects based on these activities.• Advised leadership on application and supporting technology purchases and on environment upgrades/modifications.

Responsible for architecture design of highly available and secure web platforms in an enterprise environment. This includes the authoring of validation and qualification compliance documents for the environments. Responsibilities also include the publishing of best practices and standards, security compliance, as well as, providing architecture coaching to program teams.

Responsible for implementation of availability and transactional monitoring for Enterprise applications. This included tracking and troubleshooting alerts, collecting application logs to track usage metrics, as well as data mining transaction monitor metrics to report against application SLAs.
