My accountabilities encompassed leading the Infrastructure, Operations and Business Services organizations. During my tenure, we consistently achieved exceptional levels of performance and customer service while simultaneously managing the organizational impact of change related to a $280m dollar program of work to replace our Electronic Health Records (“EHR”) and Revenue Cycle systems state-wide. These exceptional results were attributed to our laser focus on Continual Service Improvement and business process re-engineering centered on customer value and anchored in Lean Healthcare principles. We supplemented Lean through the alignment and adoption of appropriate Service Management and Project Management process guidelines defined by a combination of the following disciplines: Enterprise Architecture, Service Management via the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (“ITIL”), Project Management Body of Knowledge (“PMBOK”), and the tenets of the TBM Council to support financial transparency across the organization.

I maintained accountability for these organizations from both strategic and tactical perspectives and played a pivotal role in supporting the organizations digital transformation program of work. Our digital transformation project spanned 3.5 years and $280m and touch all clinical and revenue cycle aspects of the organization.

This position progressively built upon my two previous roles as the Manager and Director of Information Security. Serving in this role I was entrusted with the leading the Performance & Assurance and Service Management organizations of INTEGRIS Health. The Performance & Assurance team consisted of the Project Management Office (“PMO”) and Information Security Office. The alignment of the PMO and Information Security under a single executive provided an inherent advantage to the Information Security process as we enhanced the Project Management Lifecycle to ensure all projects started with security in the design phase in lieu of attempting to retrofitting security in later phases. This approach led to an improved culture of security, enhanced project velocity and improved project staff morale. The Service Management Office (“SMO”) was newly commissioned organization consisting of ITIL Process Consultants, the Help Desk and Field Services teams. The SMO’s mission was to support the broader IT organization in enhancing the value of IT from the perspective of our customers. In September of 2013, I led an initiative to co-source our Help Desk and Field Services functions with The Kemtah Group now UnityBPO based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Notable successes include a First Call Resolution approaching 77% in 2018 and best in class and best in the Healthcare vertical customer service statistics according to our HDI benchmarks.The combined organization consisted of a director and two managers and their respective staff totaling seventy-six associates.
