I qualified from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) with a BSc In Physiotherapy in 1993. I have accumulated extensive experience in MSK physiotherapy having first started work in the UK in 1994.I have been employed in Primary Care as an Extended Scope Physiotherapist since 2004 in the Locomotor Service part of the Integrated Medicine and Rehabilitation Services of Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.I am a Musculoskeletal Sonographer and use ultrasound for all my clinical work at the point of care. I am currently working 1 day per week as an MSK sonographer at Homerton University Hospital in Radiology. I trained at Canterbury and Christchurch University and qualified with a (Pg.Cert.) in 2010 I am an experienced tutor on Ultrasound courses (www.theultrasoundsite.co.uk) teaching fellow AHPs and medical professionals in MSK ultrasound diagnostics as well as ultrasound guided interventions. I started Sonoscope Ltd. in order to deliver a genuine One-Stop Ultrasound Guided injection clinic providing private patients with expert Musculoskeletal examination, Diagnostic Ultrasound and Ultrasound Guided injections all within the same session.I am a Honorary lecturer at Brunel university at our MSK ultrasound Post Graduate Certificate course.I am qualified as a non medical prescriber.MSK ultrasound is an important adjunct to my clinical practice and it has aided the accuracy of my clinical diagnoses and allows more precise ultrasound guided interventional procedures such as injections and joint aspirations.
