Rob has years of audio production experience that runs the gamut from radio (promos and commercials, long-form specials, full on imaging of Rock, Pop, News/Talk and Sports formats), to podcast sound design and audiobook post-production.He made his bones from intern to full-time hire in Market #1. He moved onto the then-nascent internet radio world, honing his talents and graduating from spot commercials to full-blown format imaging packages at ClickRadio. He was trusted with creating the imaging for no less an industry icon than the Motown channel.Then, ready for the big time, Rob was there the day Sirius Satellite Radio officially debuted (and had a hand in crafting the launch package - the very first thing broadcast from the "birds"), and spent the next four years imaging 10-15 music channels across the genres. His crown jewel was Elvis Radio, where he was entrusted to give a sonic signature to Sirius' first permanent, high-profile artist-only channel. Thangyouverymuch.Rob then spent 7 years at News Corp, brought on board for the launch of FOX News Talk, which streams on the internet, Tune-In, and in national syndication on terrestrial radio. He imaged the Alan Colmes and John Gibson radio shows, created fully-produced features and audio content for the web stream and top-of-the-hour FOX News Radio newscast (airing on over 1000 stations), and occasional long-form shows offered to FNR affiliates. Rob also wrote, voiced and produced the FOXLight blog and podcast, a weekly music and DVD release roundup.Rob is now back “home” at SiriusXM as an Imaging Producer and Podcast Sound Designer on their Sports Programming team, and he continues to do occasional freelance projects for WQXR-FM, NY. He’s proud to perform sound design and mixing for the SiriusXM podcast about the history of Negro Leagues baseball “Black Diamonds,” which won Best Sports Podcast at AdWeek’s 2021 Podcast of the Year Awards.He is always looking for his next full-time or freelance challenge, so feel free to contact this consummate pro.(Rob wrote this bio in the third person so it didn't seem quite so narcissistic or egotistical.
