The practice’s services are often deployed during the due diligence process. The division leverages Avalere’s deep knowledge of reimbursement, and the regulatory and policy environment to deliver important insights relevant to healthcare investing.

PHM is focused on helping its members get the best possible healthcare. Took a fee-for-service model serving wealthy families and expanded it to recurring, subscription revenue serving elite firms (hedge and PE funds, consulting firms). Sourced and closed service contracts with marquis firms.

Finding and making investments in technology- and data-enabled service companies. Found and negotiated two add on acquisitions for US Oncology and Transfirst. Outreach generated 1.4B in term sheets related to digital hosting, lead generation, generic OTC drugs. Part of diligence team. Created a digital best practices webinar for CMOs of the portfolio.

SIMS-like user experience for youth market that combined instant messaging and interactive games to bolster self expression and community. Raised $7.5MM investment capital and forged partnerships with AOL and others. Developed an innovative business model based on sponsorships and micro-payments that is now commonplace.
