-Design and Development of 3-Wheeled Vehicles and Leaning Suspension Systems-Vehicle R & D and Durability Testing-Custom Vehicle Builds and Product Development-Business Development and EntrepreneurshipDuring engineering school, I took an interest in designs by Piaggio for leaning three wheeled vehicles. In that vein, I launched a startup that developed two functional prototype vehicles and was granted a patent. Unfortunately, TreMoto has not received enough market acceptance to take the project full-time. Despite now being relegated to just a hobby, a silver lining can be found in the thousands of man hours of design, R & D, and testing experience that few engineers my age can match. It was certainly a project of passion that exemplifies how I can't help but take my work home with me.

- Oversee day-to-day interior process issues on NV Cargo Van & NV Passenger Van to provide quality improvements - Rapidly develop temporary countermeasures for interior quality issues as part of Quick Response Quality Control - Work closely with designers to create continuous improvements and deploy lessons learned across the Nissan brand - Lead cross-functional team in weekly meetings that redress issues using a multi-disciplinary approach - Coordinate with tooling, safety, kaizen, equipment, and systems engineers to increase quality assurance and ergonomics - Assist product quality engineering in failure mode analysis to understand and contain process and part faults- Participate in regular warranty issue conference calls to represent process engineeringMy experience as a Trim & Chassis Process Engineer at Nissan gave me the opportunity to develop solutions for numerous quality improvements, process upgrades, and even a new product launch. As the engineer responsible for the entire interior of both the NV Cargo Van and NV Passenger Van I had the chance to work with nearly every material, from the stamped metal bodies to plastic trim panels and everything in between. This position required me to work closely with designers at Nissan Technical Center to implement permanent countermeasures and horizontally deploy lessons learned across the global Nissan brand. I led a cross functional team that includes body, parts quality, process, and manufacturing departments in weekly meetings to combat our common issues. I represented process engineering in various warranty group meetings that occur throughout the week. Working with the product quality department was a regular occurrence that allowed me to gauge my performance. I also coordinated with tooling, safety, kaizen, equipment, and system engineers to guarantee we worked together towards common goals.
