Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho

Responsible for all off-equipment aircraft maintenance operations and production efforts to include conventional munitions, armament, fabrication and phased aircraft inspection. Supported F-15C/D fighter aircraft.

Ramstein Air Base, Germany

Managed, developed and implemented all Emergency Action Controller training for the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) Command Center and ensured the timely processing of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, United States European Command, United States Africa Command, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and Air Force Emergency Action Messages. Additionally, oversaw the US Ballistic Missile Defense System supporting 28 NATO countries and coordinated the USAFE-wide notifications for defensive posturing. Also served as Communications Director for a $1.2M conferencing network ensuring connectivity across 9 worldwide nodes connecting 11 unit Command Centers in 8 countries and the direction of 70K command personnel. Authored daily situation reports to the Secretary of Defense. Oversaw security policy and procedures for a Top Secret command and control facility and the protection of 44 information technology systems worth $642K. Maintained proficiency in emergency action procedures and ensured open lines of communication with higher headquarters.

Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan

Led a 5 person Emergency Management team safeguarding 2,200 military members and over $1.5B of equipment. Authored and executed Emergency Action Checklists for a wide variety of contingencies, from severe weather to aircraft mishaps to terrorist attacks. Developed local "active shooter" response plan. Coordinated Emergency Management response with four allied nation and joint forces command and control nodes during 57 rocket-borne and 2 vehicle-borne improvised explosives attacks on the installation. Supervised flight following for the busiest single runway in the world supporting 8,700 airlift missions delivering more than 250,000 troops and 145,000 tons of cargo to the war zone. Served as Acting Security Forces Chief and led the Force Protection Working Group, identifying and correcting 46 critical shortcomings to improve the wing's defensive posture.

Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany

Oversaw 260 managers and their direct reports; drove continuous process improvements to meet productivity targets managing the Centralized Engine Repair Facility for F110 General Electric jet engines in Europe and the Middle East. Authored tactics, techniques and procedures guide for all Air Force munitions maintenance.

Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany

Led cross-functional team to develop process and tools alignment, development and governance for the safety, security, storage, maintenance and movement of deterrence weapons at four sites in the European operating network. Served as senior Quality Assurance (QA) officer, provide training, direction and oversight to 12 QA evaluators. Provided policy, guidance and technical support to 550 personnel in 19 technical specialties. Developed and administrated quarterly site visit program to validate compliance with prescribed technical, surety and safety standards. Developed operational readiness metrics that provided senior leadership visibility of surety operations. Established “Standard Work” and drove 50% improvement on annual third party evaluations.

Büchel Air Base, Germany

Led 51 military and civilian employees providing operational support for 40 German Air Force PA-200 Tornado fighter aircraft valued at $1.6B. Custodian for $500M inventory account and ensured safety and security of 19 facilities/190K square feet worth $50M. Programmed a $350K operating budget, managed a $280K supply account and maintained serviceability of 68 vehicles worth $750K. Controlled 381 equipment items valued at $1.4M and a $1.2M munitions materiel account. Brought failing organization back into compliance with both NATO and US regulations in 6 months.

Kunsan Air Base, Republic Of Korea

Led 158 military and 11 local civilians maintaining largest munitions stockpile on the Korean peninsula valued at $1.1B. Directed maintenance across 10 elements. Reviewed Operational Plans and ensured capability to receive, store, test and inspect 24 weapons systems for the wing's F-16 fighter aircraft squadrons and incoming forces' aircraft in wartime. Enforced maintenance standards; independent audit team rated site #1 of 9 in Korea.

Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska

Led 258 maintenance personnel in six different specialties. Managed the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 21 F-15E fighter aircraft valued in excess of $1B. Ensured accountability of equipment valued at over $6M. Developed generation, mobility and employment plans supporting wartime and peacetime operations.

Eglin Air Force Base, Florida

Defined field training needs for advanced technology fuzes and weapons systems. Advised senior staff on user concerns and lessons learned driving future weapons development and fielding. Organized the Annual Air Armament Center conference, hosting 450 attendees representing senior military and civilian leadership of all four services and 14 allied countries.
