Responsible for all technical activities related to NASA programs, including business capture, program execution, and customer interface. Directed efforts that led to $135M contract award for NASA’s Space Launch Initiative program (TA-10 Flight Demonstrations). Managed technical proposal volume, led technical team during negotiations, managed development of all technical deliverables and customer relationship. Contract award included an option for an autonomous rendezvous and docking flight experiment, which later contributed to the formulation of the Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) contracts to Kistler and SpaceX for ISS cargo delivery.

Navigation sensors include global position system (GPS), LIDAR and inertial sensors. Built simulation capability to model multi-body, 9+ degree of freedom dynamics and system performance. Developed relationships with U.S. Army Soldier Systems Center and Yuma Proving Ground to conduct airdrop testing. The team, simulation tools and U.S. Army relationships formed the basis for the Orion Capsule Parachute Assembly System (CPAS).Was a Cooperative Education student trainee from August 1985 to June 1986.
