Whilst studying Music & Drama at Brentwood Secondary College, Rob developed his love of the stage.Rob first came to the nation’s attention in 2003 as a finalist on the first series of the phenomenon Australian Idol.Following this success and national Idol Tour he was signed to BMG, his first single “Ms.Vanity” debuted at #6 on the Australian charts, reaching Gold status. His debut album “Up All Night “was released in June 2004, featuring seven co-written tracks.Rob follows his passion, when he first heard the music from WICKED he vowed to be a part of the show when it came to Australia. He was thrilled to be cast in the role of “Fiyero” in this highly successful Broadway Musical and played over 500 shows in Melbourne & Sydney rave reviews establishing himself as one of Australia’s favourite leading men.Other Musical Theatre and Acting credits include “Winners & Losers” (Network 7, 2011), “Underbelly” – Razor (Nine Network, 2011) and principal roles in “Grease”, The Arena Tour (2005) as “Johnny Casino”, “Hair” (2006) as “Claude”, Into The Woods as Cinderella’s Prince (Wicked Cast production for Rob Guest Endowment Fund) and “Jamie” in “The Last Five Years” nominated as Best Musical Production – 2012 Sydney Theatre Awards.Another passion is mentoring young talent; Rob is lucky enough to be doing this as part of his role of Host of the new “Young Talent Time” (Network Ten)Rob is both thrilled and excited to be a part of the smash hit, all time good fun musical “Legally Blonde”, “it’s a show of pure entertainment for all ages”Currently dazzling the dance floor and performing to packed houses as Danny Zuko in "Grease The Musical" Hoping to maybe take to the Cabaret stage later in the year..."I feel i've got some stories to tell"...
