Bosch Weert designs, builds and sells 'vertical packaging machines'. Often, these are often custom made machines and are sold as a part of a complete packaging line. As a Project Manager, it was my responsibility to oversee the process and to integrate Bosch' machinery into a packaging line along with third party equipment, including in-feed and out-feed conveyors, multi-head weighers, check weighers, metal detectors and case packers. At Bosch, I worked for various clients, like Mondelez, Unilever and Nestlé Purina. I further re-strengthened my skills in contract and claim management, risk management and cost control, and FAT & SAT.

At VDL ETG, I worked as a Project Manager at the New Product Introduction and Organization (NPI&O) department. The goal of these projects which I managed was to introduce prototypes in a factory for parts manufacturing and mechatronic systems. At VDL ETG, I learned how to apply the QLTC method and was introduced to parts manufacturing used in a clean room environment.

As a Project Manager at the Turnkey Projects & Services (TP&S) department of Philips Lighting, I worked on a wide variety of projects, all related to those dealing with LED technology. Examples include the installation of electronic billboards in sport stadiums, the installation of adaptive and solar powered urban lighting and the illumination of buildings. During my time at Philips Lighting, I gained more experience in analysing force fields, contract and claim management and export control.

The projects which I carried out at Assembléon focussed on delivering machines and production lines for manufacturing printed circuit boards. Besides keeping track of time, cost and risk, my main task was to manage the relationship with customers.Two projects from this period of my career have stayed with me in particular. My collaborations with Ericsson in Kumla in Sweden and Jabil in “T-Town” in Hungary have been especially gratifying. Both customers were of Key Importance to Assembléon due to their application and highly demanding production requirements. Establishing a long term partnership between Assembléon and these two factories is a result I am very satisfied with.
