As the design lead for the Packages online booking engine, I am responsible for the user experience and aligning the MVP solution for product launch based on business goals & user goals. The project is still ongoing but I am very excited for its launch very soon.

The experience is key as it correlated with funnel conversion and sales. This is possible through A/B testing tools, survey insights, talking with customers to understand pain points, validate usability issues and design consistency.

The first project I worked on at Flight Centre was for the Website Experience team as a UX/UI Designer. I joined an experienced team of designers that shared my passion for a user focused experience, utilising agile/lean methodologies.My role required:• High fidelity, multi-device, responsive UI designs• Prototyping• Facilitate stakeholder workshops• Component / Pattern libraries (style guide driven development)• Agile / Lean UX focusThe challenge: Flight Centre had multiple travel brands and websites with vastly different online experiences. This included various UI elements, design inconsistency, varying business goals and no source of truth. This created a huge amount of technical debt and confusion as well as speed to market for our product offering for our customers.The Platform Website Project was created to solve these challenges. One central website to host all of the travel brands with the purpose to maintain design standards and reduce technical debt to increase speed to market for future features. Through the facilitation of stakeholder workshops and development scoping we were able to align business & user goals.
