Staffing isn’t sexy. No one wakes up and says, “staffing is my calling” - or at least I didn’t think so until recently, when I did exactly that. I love this business because I was built for it. As an MIS major at Ohio University I learned SQL querying, relational database structures, network infrastructure, I even wrote a great deal of C#/.Net code. And yet, the most valuable lesson I learned throughout my education was that I didn’t want to be in Information Technology, at all. Rather, I wanted to bridge the gap between that technology, big business solutions, and the people that make it all work. To start my career, I learned the ropes in IT recruiting. I then helped build the top performing market (of 23), for three years running, by developing and managing a $5 million portfolio of IT business in Columbus, OH that I grew from the ground up. I then pioneered a “first of its kind”, national sales division focused on IT solutions for Fortune 300 retail clients like Kroger, Walgreens, and The Home Depot which grew at an average clip of 35%, year over year. Finally, I decided to pursue my dream of being an entrepreneur, in the business I love, in the city I call home.Based in Columbus, Ohio, Agility Partners is a Minority Owned Enterprise (MBE) provider of information technology solutions and professional resourcing services. We specialize in providing IT professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, direct placement, executive search, and managed solutions to clients in Fortune 500, mid-market, and emerging markets.
