Construction is the only thing that I have ever done. I learned the basics as a child, emulating my father, an aerospace engineer with an amazing work ethic and a solid DIY streak. My professional foray started as a summer job in 1986 with a custom home builder. The following year, I jumped right into the fast-paced world of production framing (200+ homes at a time wasn’t uncommon). In 1994 I made the leap into commercial construction and instantly found my element. This is where my years of experience as a carpenter, education and creativity are all brought forth to provide our clients, and their designers, with the best possible experience. I love the fast-paced scheduling, the production mindset and possessing the practical knowledge to help designers rework details to ensure that the result exceeds their vision. And ultimately, the pride of presenting a completed project to our client; a project brought forth from piles of raw materials and our their vision.
