Kijksluiter is volledig gebaseerd op de officiële bijsluiter en wordt gepersonaliseerd op geslacht, leeftijd en indicatie van het geneesmiddel aan de gebruiker aangeboden. Kijksluiter is beschikbaar in het Engels, Turks, en Arabisch en is in het Nederlands ondertiteld. Ook zijn alle Nederlandse en Engelse Kijksluiters interactief. Begrijpelijkheid en bruikbaarheid van Kijksluiter is uitvoerig getest, vooral met mensen die moeite hebben met lezen en schrijven. Kijksluiter wordt via de eigen zorgaanbieder van de gebruiker aangeboden, zodat Kijksluiter een rol speelt in de bestaande relatie tussen zorgaanbieder en patiënt.Voor welk probleem is Kijksluiter een oplossing?Jaarlijks geven wij ca. 6 miljard Euro uit aan medicijnen. 30-40% van deze medicijnen worden niet of niet goed gebruikt.
