New Ways To Create New Spaces For Creative People. Pop Asylum is a living prototype, it's aim is to connect creatives with the community.Initially created to leverage Social Media we found many physical spaces in and around Tunbridge Wells asking to be involved. In March 2011: Tunbridge Wells : we prototyped a month long pop up exhibition. The show peaked at 15 artists showing one sunny Friday morning over tea and cakes. We spilled out into the road and soon had lots of surround shops and passes by coming in to see what was going on. Within an hour the police had arrived, but had come to see the show!
