Through my international work and study experience in the past years I have gathered many insights about societies, cultures and business. Collaborating in a multi stakeholder (and international) environment is key to solve complex challenges. It is important to be able to lead diverse teams, and mostly how to take multiple perspectives into account. In terms of the economy, I believe that the world is reaching a tipping point where massive change will occur. Our economy will move from a linear system towards a circular one. Being a strong advocate of the concept of circular economy, and with the tipping point in mind, my mission is to prepare today's businesses for this change. I prepare businesses for a world where continuously reusing the earth’s raw materials has become the standard, a performance based economy where growth has been decoupled from material input. I contribute to making the circular economy mainstream, in favor of our economy, society and environment. Businesses are the key to make this happen.I have so far lived in China, The Netherlands, United States, United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico. Due to the experience in many multicultural settings I am able to adapt, communicate, and solve problems with people and organizations from different cultural backgrounds.
