Rob Osborn is a Marketing Manager at Vanguard. He manages a team responsible for combining internal and external data to generate targeted marketing campaign files and research lists utilizing tools such as Unica Affinium Campaign, Infor Epiphany Outbound Marketing, Siebel Campaign Management and Segmentation, Cognos 8, and SAS. Prior to joining retail marketing at Vanguard, Rob was a Project Leader in Vanguard’s Institutional Retirement Plan Services. As a Project Leader, Rob was responsible for the successful conversion of qualified defined contribution retirement plans for new clients and existing client Merger and Acquisition activity.Rob served for seven years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. His service included deployments as a Division Officer on two warships including a tour as the ship’s Navigator. On shore he served on the staff of United States Space Command in Colorado Springs, CO - Cheyenne Mountain. Rob qualified as a Space Control Officer and was responsible for providing information on space events that threatened U.S. space assets to the Cheyenne Mountain Operations Center Staff along with threat warning and assessments to the governments of the United States and Canada.
