I worked as the Head of design at Wattbike, managing a small team who were responsible for producing creative solutions for this high end indoor bike training manufacturer, in the UK and globally. Producing designs on behalf of key departments such as marketing and sales my team delivered both print and online solutions, designed exhibition stands, directed video and photography shoots and kept the brand moving forward.

Worked for the Adelaide Crows as a freelance graphic designer. Produced solutions for membership campaigns, match-day graphics, bespoke events, team activities and day-to-day marketing requirements.

Canberra, Australia

I worked as the Senior Designer at Giraffe - a Canberra based design studio that has been in existence for 15 years, until moving to Adelaide, South Australia.The role required the development of design solutions for a wide range of clients from private business and government organisations to national companies. From creating branding solutions, logos, advertising campaigns, online creative and websites to producing exhibition graphics, signage and vehicle livery the role was dynamic and varied.As the Senior Designer within a small team my role also encompassed project management, client liaison and concept development as well as producing high quality artwork ready for print or web and stepping in as Creative Director when required.

Fruition was my own design company based in the UK that provided high quality creative service for companies and organisations of all sizes for over eight years. We specialised in design for print as well producing solutions across all media including TV and radio. From designing logos, developing brands, creating marketing and advertising campaigns and concepts we produced anything that businesses, large and small, required from a creative perspective.Unique solutions that accurately answered a brief and that provided proven business results were the driving force behind the designs and solutions produced by Fruition. I recently closed the company in order to fulfil a dream move for my family to Canberra, Australia and the chance to further my creative career in a new and exciting environment.

I headed up the in-house design and production teams managing graphic designers and production admin staff with regular appraisals and 1-2-1 meetings, setting objectives based on the overall strategic direction of the company. I directed the team creatively in order to produce a wide range of marketing and advertising solutions according to regular sales objectives and timings, as well as managing a range of suppliers. I also oversaw and creatively directed both DR and BR TV production managing a strict budget and production schedule. My responsibilities included liaising with key stakeholders and directly reporting to the Commercial Director, in order to ensure the Hillarys brand continued to develop. I also implemented a new 3rd party project management system called 'Traffic' within the marketing team.

Working as a consultant for the council I was responsible for the day to day management of the in-house design team designing a wide range of communication solutions. I also produced a full report on design provision with a range of recommendations for improvement and cost savings. As well as managing external suppliers from design agencies to print companies I also developed and maintained the council's brand guidelines.

While working as a design and brand consultant for the council I was responsible for a team of graphic designers and leading the creative output produced on behalf of the communications team. Managing suppliers and overseeing the evolution of the brand also formed a large part of the role.

Managed a small in-house design team, implemented and designed marketing collateral, and worked with a range of suppliers and organisations including the Olympic 'Back the Bid' team to become the first company to vinyl wrap a train.

Maintained client relationships with the likes of Five tv and managed a team of web designers and developers

Progressed projects on behalf of clients such as British Gas and Vodafone, meeting with the client and providing creative/marketing solutions
