Wells drilled successfully to provide further appraisal of the play.Responsibilities included offset reviews, risk assessments, directional planning, casing design, drill bit selection, cement design, torque and drag analysis, and cost estimating. Familiar with Halliburton/Landmark software package for well design including WellPlan (T&D, hydraulics), Compass (directional), and StressCheck (casing design).

Worked with AER and BCOGC to identify situations where non-routine abandonments were acceptable to deliver cost savings while meeting regulatory requirements.Completed cost evaluation studies on cement and wireline vendors for abandonments. This information was used to create a cost-estimating tool showing approximate costs for various vendors based on expected job parameters.
