I am a Senior Marketing Consultant and Sales Team Lead with Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers is an Attorney Rating Service that employs a Patented research process to determine the top 5% of Attorneys in a state or region for Super Lawyers and 2.5% for Rising Stars, as selected by our patented selection process. Once the list is set, I work within assigned projects helping the selected attorneys and their firms understand what Super Lawyers is and how Super Lawyers can be utilized to gain a competitive advantage over others. Unlike most sales positions within Thomson Reuters, This role is limited to many short deadlines or selling cycles for our products as well as other more strategic options that can take a much longer selling cycle.The sales process starts as a Consultation with a needs analysis where I discover what makes the attorney or firm different from all the others that practice the same thing in the state or region. I really take the time to get to know the attorney or firm on all levels and not just a professional level, then I move into building the value of our Brand by discussing the importance of our selection process and industry insights. I believe in giving them open and honest assessments of their current marketing plans and how I would change them to better reach their target audience. Any other way to do this job and I might as well be a transactional sales rep, which doesn't get to the heart of the matter.
