Opening Hotel Manager for a new brand/hotel from Ace Hotels; Sister City. I have been responsible for pre-opening OS&E review, SOP’s, job descriptions, operations reporting, and onboarding/training programs for 75+ employees. Additionally, I’ve created and executed all operations budgets, both sourcing and liaising with all vendors, and creating staffing models that optimizes productivity while meeting hotel standards.

Promoted from my role as Revenue/Reservations Manager at Crosby Street Hotel to opening Rooms Division Manager for new luxury hotel in midtown Manhattan. I was involved in creation of all room types, budgets, and sales strategies for the property, while also designing, recruiting, hiring, and training Rooms Department employees and MOD roster through development of training workshops/plans. Additionally, I liaised directly with building contractors to execute outstanding construction projects while ensuring completion was to company standards, allowing the property to yield the highest revenue possible.

Executive team member and department head role where I was responsible with the creation and execution of rooms budgets, including presenting them to ownership, company directors, and bank lenders. I also worked closely with Housekeeping and Engineering departments in occupancy forecasting and scheduling of preventive maintenance and refurbishment programs. Housekeeping Manager Day to day focused around leading a team of over 60 Local-6 employees on room inspections to hotel standard while delivering rooms on time. I led a number of department wide projects including restructuring of all storage arrangements to improve OS&E inventory tracking and lower expenditures. Additionally, I oversaw large scale FF&E preventative maintenance initiative for all 185 guest rooms with both hotel employees and outside contractors.Revenue/Reservations ManagerI worked directly with the Director of Revenue on initiatives that included promotional packages, suite upgrade programs, and carried out aggressive yielding practices in high demand periods which grew ADR 8% YOY without losing occupancy, leading to improved RevPar.

Acting Manager on Duty for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts with no senior leadership on property. In addition to my MOD shifts, I carried out the training and development of all Front Desk and Guest Services team members to hotel standard, ensuring seamless guest experience. Other responsibilities included, organizing scheduling for 15+ employees and corrective action according to union by laws.

Promoted from Night Audit Manager to Sales Reporting Systems Analyst; a dual role reporting to Director of Revenue and Director of Sales & Marketing. In this role, I represented the Revenue Management Department in Director’s absence and forecasted market occupancy and travel trends to maximize use of sales, marketing, reservations, and catering departments. Following the housing crash of 2008, I was responsible for long term hotel guest stays for our 147 residential units where I increased average rate by 25% YOY.

I Developed and maintained complete knowledge of occupancy levels, rates, and guest bank authorizations to provide senior management with current revenue data. Additionally, managed hotel operations and services to resolve guest issues through interdepartmental communication, staff training, and supervision.
