I enjoy visiting a manufacturing site and looking for ways to improve production and cut waste.

Supplier Risk Manager2008-2020: Coordinated workouts for Honda manufacturing plants, R&D, Purchasing, and the suppliers. Track "early indicators" and utilize company sensing to monitor, evaluate, and respond to suppliers in financial distress. Head workout team between legal and accounting departments at Honda and other OEM's. Synchronized the order flow of over 4 million parts daily for the manufacture of Honda & Acura models. Implemented BaaN MRP ordering system..Support and DevelopmentManaged core suppliers for new model development on various models. Assessed/negotiated cost, lead-time, and development. Responded to crises situations, with on-site management of supplier production and delivery systems, manpower.

Implemented QS9000 at four Northern Michigan Plants. Rationalized the number of suppliers from 350 to 260. Responsible for implementing TQM / Kepner-Tregoe problem solving methodology across the entire supply base.

Launched several new model assemblies for Ford, Nissan, and General Motors. Increase plant operating efficiency and equipment utilization. Moved plant from two shift operation to 4 shift 24/7 schedule.

Managed the finance and insurance contracts for all vehicle sales. -Awarded Subaru Finance Sales winner for Michigan. Sales of Jeep, Subaru, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac automobiles. -Awarded GM Vanguard Heritage of Excellence Sales Award.
