    I purchased largest minority share (46%) of a close-out merchandise wholesale business. Using private sources, I raised $2 million and moved the business into the new area of television home shopping. I negotiated a joint venture with Robert Johnson at Black Entertainment Television, contracts with video productions facilities, telephone and warehouse fulfillment facilities. Within six months of the purchase of my share of the company, private placement of the investment was successfully concluded and production of two separate television shopping shows was ongoing. We were responsible for the production of approximately 8 hours of television programming per day, I coordinated transmission of all production information among our television studios, call center in Phoenix, Arizona and the warehouse fulfillment facility in Akron, Ohio.I negotiated a joint venture with Close Out Merchandise Buyers (C.O.M.B.) of Minneapolis, Minnesota and TCI of Denver, Colorado. In the course of this venture I supervised anywhere between 25 and 150 employees directly.Unfortunately, the joint-venture fell through and our company was liquidated in the fall of 1988.
