Now I am a Podcaster, but I’ve always been a Storyteller, Relationship Capitalist, Mentor and aggregator of smart, really good people. I’m a uniquely loud advocate of our entrepreneurial economy in Los Angeles where I've lived since 1997 & Latin America where I’ve focused energy since 2016. I've used storytelling to advance my goals or inspire & help others since I was 20yo. I just didn't realize this was my "WHY" until I was 46. My daily goals are to leverage my lifetime of unique leadership & life experiences to build meaningful relationships with really smart people, then tell their and my stories to amplify their ambitious goals & help others grow! Life's short and I think we should do what we're good at and stop chasing missions that suck! What makes me, me?? I am told repeatedly that it's my passion, my contagious positive energy, my intellectual curiosity, deep experience and my empathy for people. My life experiences shape me; Paramount among them was raising my daughter through her teenage years on my own as well as using business as my "canvas" as a multiple time CEO & Founder. I have been very fortunate to build up a deep and wide global network of tens of thousands of leaders who trust and respect me. My social audience across all platforms has matched this, growing north of 30k relationships, especially as our podcast, “Entrepreneurial Thinkers” has grown. I've been “selling” since I was 20 years old. Taught by my dad to be a "professional relationship developer" and mentored by a dozen other stars over a 35+yr career. I've failed and succeeded repeatedly in a variety of ways and grown every time. I've started, shut down and sold companies. I've worked at huge public companies, gone through IPOs, and succeeded at tiny start-ups and everything between. I've been mentored by truly amazing people and hired and fired good people myself. I've grown tens of millions of revenue from new and dormant customers. I've done global travel in USA, Asia & Latin America while raising investor capital and leading in tech & traditional industries.What's my greatest accomplishment? BAR NONE: Taking what many thought was the "risk" of stepping away from my "career" to solely focus on being my daughters full time, stay at home DAD through her teen years. This was the defining chapter to date. In fact the real risk would have been NOT DOING it, because it made me the man I am today. I am the luckiest man alive, to be living the life I'm designing for myself as we go, surrounded by interesting good people everyday.
