Megaport was the first of it's kind - an interconnection network built specifically for connecting data centres to data centres. My role here was from start-up to generate new trial customers, following a planned temporary role in sister company SubPartners. As it was a start-up, my focus was purely as a BDM to hunt new business, develop relationships with valuable partners, and get them on-board for network trial.Even though my time was short due to a family move to Cairns, my impact was strong, bringing on the first 110 trial customers and in a small part, setting Megaport up to be the global success story it is today.

Managing the customer engagement process for the planned submarine cable projects APX-West and APX-Central (now SubCo's SMAP cable).

Senior sales role with PIPE Networks (sold to TPG Telecom in 2010) engaging with all levels of government IT stakeholders across Qld and NSW state governments and councils. Started the role with 5 Qld Government customers and finished with 23 departments along with numerous local councils, utilities, and authorities.Sold the company's largest ever Government deal of $3.2M worth of dark fibre (unlit optical fibre) to power the CBD core sites of the Public Safety Network (PSN). This comprised the Qld Police, Justice and Corrective Services.Total new business contracts for my time at PIPE totalled over $45,000,000
