With a passion for marketing and media, during his career Rob has narrowed his skillset to specialise in the listed property sector.Most recently, as Head of Marketing at Stor-Age Property REIT Limited (JSE listed and the largest self storage brand in South Africa), he has been responsible for communications and marketing across the business. This includes all investor relations and reporting, external and internal communication strategies, marketing and all content requirements that successfully drive the group's digital marketing strategy. Rob has also been responsible for developing and executing the group's ESG strategy, aligning the Company's Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance policies and reporting with global industry standards. As part of his portfolio, Rob has continued to successfully implement a comprehensive communications strategy for Storage King, a UK self storage business which was acquired by Stor-Age in 2017.Prior to this, Rob successfully launched, managed and grew a niche Public Relations agency over a period of 7 years. Rob also spent time in London, between 2005 and 2008, working at an award-winning boutique PR agency.
