This is a professional organization of glaucoma specialists from across Canada. Overall we are small in number but glaucoma effects >1% of people over 40 years old and >10% of folks >70 years old. Glaucoma is treatable if caught early and controllable at later stages but still half of the people in the real world who have glaucoma don't even know it.I was.
