With a background of high stakes risk management and leadership in the RCAF as a fighter pilot, operations officer and Commanding Officer of the world famous Snowbirds, I have applied these practical experiences with a background of formal education to provide deep insight into airshow operations, fire investigation, flight school and film / TV safety management.

I flew in the number 5 jet doing both solo work and outer left wing flying. Trained in media communications and public speaking, I was a key public figure for the team.

While at Great Pacific Media, I had the opportunity to both learn and contribute to two prime-time Discovery Channel series. As a consulting producer, I used my extensive leadership background to manage resources, crews and character relationships. As a director, I was able to lead crews in the field and create stories as they unfolded in real-time. I also brought a unique sense of safety management to productions in these high stakes shoots.

I had the three year opportunity to gain insight into another aspect of aviation with a very successful major Canadian airline company.

20 years in the RCAF flying CF-18's where I was a tactical fighter pilot with 433 ETAC, and instructor pilot twice at 410 Sqn. While at 410 Sqn I was selected as the CF-18 demonstration pilot. I also had the privilege of flying with the Snowbirds Jet Team twice, once as the Outer Left Pilot (#7) and later as the Snowbird's Team Lead and Commanding Officer.
