Working in the Digital ELT (English Language Teaching) department, my primary responsibility was the development and maintenance of their CD-ROM product codebases. My key task was working on the migration of our main interactive whiteboard application to Actionscript 3 and consolidating numerous disparate application types to a single unified platform. I was also involved with numerous other product developments and initiatives within the department as well as looking at longer term strategies for the department.I also had responsibility for the product development team which consists of developers and technicians, both as their line manager and, working with the project management team, managing the resourcing of team members to products.

Various contract roles, including Shockwave.com and SimpleStar in San Francisco working on Flash and Director based interactive online and offline applications. The majority of the time was spent on the commercially successful PhotoShow desktop application, a digital image management tool, slideshow creator and online community.Musical education CDs for A&C Black Publishing, contracted through Sound Recording Technology in St. Ives Cambs.Also worked on two successful advertising campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger (Amsterdam) to provide the application for kiosk installations.

Led front end development of many commerical web sites, working closely with the design team and the server team to ensure delivery to schedule.Was also responsible for a number of offline CD-ROM based products.
