When your children or grandchildren ask 'What did you do about the planet?' how will you answer? If you want say 'I did all I could', then you and I are on the same journey.A journey of generosity.Giving all we can now, because doing it later will be too late for our children. Plus, it'd be blooming nice if they got to see a tree or two.Connect and let's talk about how we can do more, together.Or email me at rob.sisson@panicle.co.ukMaybe we arrived here from different starting points or go about it in different ways, but the trajectory aligns. For me, through entrepreneurship I lived my dream life, only to find that hedonistic daydreams weren't all they cracked up to be.I was done; bored of chasing after experience, tired of constantly desiring for the next; the bigger; the better - this one, that - these, and those. So I spent 6 months meditating in Buddhist monasteries and a silent retreat.Generosity became the focus. Now this life is dedicated to doing good; be it through philanthropy and charity, or investing and work.My present priority is making nature a more investable asset so it makes economic sense to rewild, restore, and regenerate - not just ecological sense. My team and I are building The NBS Financing Guide, in which we are mapping how different financial instruments can be used throughout the whole life cycle or a nature-based solution. Now we may have more issues now than ever before. The way I see it though is that we can make the choice to adopt a pessimistic view of it - or we can see now as the greatest opportunity for generosity in our history.More is on the line than ever, and isn't that what makes a great adventure?
