Clearwater Safety Group Ltd is a Safety Risk Management consultancy based in the South East of England. Rob Slater is the MD and primary consultant. Formerly a CDM-Coordinator, Rob is qualified to act as CDM Advisor to Clients and Principal Designers. He is currently studying for his MSc in Health & Safety at Portsmouth University. He is a full Member of the International Institute of Risk Safety Management, (MIIRSM) and holds Graduate status with the Institute of Fire Engineers (GIFireE) as well as being a member of the Fire Protection Association. What makes us different at the Clearwater Safety Group is we work with our clients, generally Managers or Directors of SME's, to help them sort out H&S issues, always with a view to the practicalities of their business needs. We specialise in working with the smaller building projects especially refurbishments and renovations. Quite often we are asked to be both CDMA and H&S advisor, which we are quite happy to do, so long as it not purely a tick box exercise. We are often contacted by small contractors - often one man bands, who need RAMS to get onto site, and we are able to help them. Other clients come from a variety of industry sectors: offices and blocks of flats need to have Fire Risk Assessments, builders, landscape gardeners and groundworkers need help to get CHAS/ConstructionLine approval.Many clients come to us looking for health and safety policies that reflect the size and nature of their company, we pride ourselves on being able to write Policy documents that are easy to understand yet cover all the bases.
