• Led the assessment team that performed quantitative benchmarking and qualitative interviewing of the entire IT organization for the State of Michigan. Evaluated all functions within Michigan’s IT organization, including Security & Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Program/Portfolio Management Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure & Operations from both a cost effectiveness perspective and a personnel productivity perspective.• Evaluated follow on SAP module/functionality rollouts for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) after go live, including the sequencing of projects, the readiness of the organization for the new SAP functionality to be implemented, and the sufficiency of the IT infrastructure to accommodate the additional demands from the new rollouts. This work also included an evaluation of the access control strategy, policies, and procedures for the existing SAP system in production.• Performed detailed analysis of alternatives (AoA) for a Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) solution for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), including a best practices review of the AFMC’s functional requirements. Provided software selection recommendation and quantitative analysis of fit between Siemens’ Teamcenter product and Oracle’s Agile product versus the AFMC’s functional and technical integration requirements with a sensitivity analysis on the tradeoffs between optimizing for functional requirements fit versus the technical integration requirements fit.• Reviewed all testing documentation and observed Customer Acceptance Test demonstrations to ensure that SAP fulfilled the terms of its contract with DLA to properly design and test the integration of SAP’s Public Sector product with its Oil & Gas product. Provided DLA with an independent, objective assessment of the quality of testing deliverables, and the shortcomings of the testing process with respect to the solution’s eventual implementation within DLA’s existing SAP environment.
