I help to ensure the uptime and reliability of a variety of online services at Microsoft. These services take in all the telemetry data from all Windows and Xbox devices, ensuring that Microsoft has insight into how software is being used, can be more reliable, and add more value to our billions of customers.

Managed 4000+ servers and 8000+ workstations across multiple large enterprise customers. I was focused on ensuring Windows patching and software delivery was done on time to ensure customer security and productivity. Utilized Powershell to automate as many processes as I could, for example I wrote a Powershell module to ensure the Altiris (patching and software delivery) agent would stay in a healthy state, greatly reducing manual effort in troubleshooting agent issues.In addition would troubleshoot issues that the helpdesk and NOC were unable to resolve as level 3 support. AD replication issues, corrupted databases, incorrect load balancer configurations etc.

Provided Level 1 and Level 2 support on the Helpdesk. Primarily focused on Microsoft technology stack. Everything from password resets to restoring SQL databases.

Initially began fielding support calls on the helpdesk for end users, but quickly evolved into handling much more. Stood up LAMP stacks, Sharepoint, troubleshooting AD replication issues etc. while still handling level 1 support calls.
