* Hired in 2018 onto the GitHub for Business team, my scope of work was primarily focused on features aimed at driving higher adoption from larger enterprise customers* Worked alongside my team to add the conceptually new Enterprise Account (https://docs.github.com/en/enterprise-cloud@latest/admin/overview/about-enterprise-accounts)* Worked on an initial implementation of SAML SSO for enterprise accounts, allowing external Identity Providers to manage members of a customer's Enterprise Account (and therefore their organizations)* Discovered and addressed numerous performance issues inherently introduced when performing operations across large numbers of GitHub organizations* In 2020, I pivoted to work on a new product offering that had been POC'd internally — GitHub Codespaces (https://github.com/features/codespaces)* Iinitially worked on our incorporation of Codespaces running in Azure into the GitHub user interface* Most of the founding team were new hires, I spent a considerable amount of time mentoring folks on the GitHub Way as well as with general Ruby/Rails support* I was responsible for building out integration with the Microsoft team to facilitate billing for Codespaces* I collaborated with teams from Microsoft and internal teams responsible for GitHub billing to design, spec, and implement (with help!) a billing pipeline that was highly fault tolerant, observable/scalable, and well tested/documented
