About Rob Sturm

I enjoy leading teams, with empathy, humor and care, and am particularly passionate about adding value by personally identifying and pursuing organizational growth and improvement and helping inspire others to embrace this mindset. Indeed, throughout my professional career, I have adopted creative strategies, practical solutions and embraced change in ways that have dramatically enhanced efficiency, effectiveness and end-results, and resulting in the ability to do more, without necessarily doing more. When I am not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and our three children (and our small hobby-farm) and prioritizing exercise and community betterment. I cycle regularly, and (alas, rather unrealistically) aspire to someday reclaim an indoor Guinness World Record for Stationary Cycling that I held decades ago. I enjoy volunteer activities and find highly rewarding my participation as an elected member of the Lafayette School District Governing Board. I self-published a children's book (The Missing Tooth) and am working on an unrelated children's book series.
