I began here as a loan officer in 2000 from Home Loan and became a sales manager in 2008. I manage a group of highly motivated sales people comprised of 10 loan officers each with over 10+ years conventional and sub prime experience and a vast knowledge of government and conventional products. We have a great team and our colleagues are always asking me when we will be hiring again. Citizens is a great opportunity and I have met extraordinary people working here. I am frequently involved in presenting and training new hires within other channels of Citizens Financial Services that refer mortgage clients to our business line. These other channels along with our Branch network throughout 12 states allow us to maintain a constant flow of business. The world class service we strive for in the RI Home Lending Solutions Center is what makes us successful and grows our referral base every day.

I was hired in January of 2000 as a sub-prime mortgage originator for an inside sales division at Jefferson Blvd West in Warwick, RI. This was the very early stages of the sub prime channel for Citizens Mortgage where I quickly became accustomed to selling to current banking and mortgage customers who demanded the highest level of customer service. When rates began to fall I began the education and training of conventional and FHA products which quickly became the bulk of our inbound sales division. I was a top producer and Chairman's Club and President's Club winner 4 years in a row until I was promoted to a producing sales manager. It was at this time when the department was moved to the Davol Bldg in Cranston and we grew to twice the sales force as we began brokering out sub- prime products as a referral conduit for the Outside Retail Sales Force.

I started at Home Loan right out of college and joined a comprehensive training program to become a Sr. Mortgage Loan Officer. This took 11 months where I began in telemarketing both inbound and outbound, to night manager of outbound telemarketing, to underwriter and eventually to a top producing loan officer. I learned all facets of the sub prime industry for high cost mortgages including cross selling mortgage life insurance and origination fees. I developed and honed a sales skill that ultimately led to my ability to be a Chairman's Club member at Citizen's bank 4 years in a row.
