I am an executive with two decades of experience leading high-profile strategy and technology initiatives for some of the world's most recognizable financial services, technology, and media companies.I excel when working with teams to build engaged ecosystems of developers, partners, and customers that drive technology commercialization, go-to-market strategies, and revenue operations. I am also an experienced public speaker who enjoys public relations, communications, and marketing campaigns.I come from a family of teachers and started my career teaching in Japan. Much of the go-to-market and services management work I did at KPMG/BearingPoint and Deloitte had a significant channel readiness component centered around training and learning programs. From 2013 to 2015 I was the CTO at Relay Graduate School of Education before transitioning to pursue my passion to expand computer science education at schools. At Goldman Sachs, developing a curriculum around open source for its 10,000 engineers was a significant part of the open source program design for which I was responsible. I am a Lean Sigma Black Belt and also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). The CISA training in particular has been valuable to me during my work at the intersection of software supply chains and open source. I still enjoy staying hands-on with technology and code. My preferred languages to develop in are Python and OCaml.
